This work delves into the fragility (Moroi in Japanese) that arises from the direct interaction between materials (paper, fire, water, etc.) and the rawness of body photo scanning. In creating these works, I unintentionally leave traces of my heart within them. This fragility is not a weakness, but a way of exploring my existence. By facing imperfection, confusion, and the gap between reality and ideas, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of my human experience. Through this process, I’ve encountered the contradictions of self-growth—feeling hurt, questioning myself, yet also recognising my strength. I believe that fragility and uncertainty are what make the human experience so compelling. They expose the complexity and authenticity of being human.
