After experiencing the loss of my sense of smell due to COVID-19, I found myself unexpectedly rearranging photographs. To my surprise, the lingering scents of autumn from the images surged to my senses. At that time, it was the new autumn season, and my dulled sense of smell made me deeply nostalgic for the aromas of soil, fallen leaves, and the crisp, refreshing air that permeated the atmosphere. This prompted me to create this work, aiming to express my longing for the essence of autumn and my reflections on the past.
